With Knuff, you stay connected with your loved ones. Members of a bubble check in regularly to quickly show that everything is okay. If a check-in is missed, the other members are notified.We developed Knuff to bring people closer together and give them a good feeling in everyday life - whether between grandparents, children, parents, partners or friends.

No, not necessarily. Knuff complements existing messengers. The focus is on knowing how people in your bubble are doing and informing you if someone has been inactive for a long time. But you can also discuss, share pictures, upload videos and simply stay in good contact with your loved ones.

Knuff is available for iPhone and iPad with iOS 16 or later, as well as Android smartphones.

You and your Knuffis can use the app for all basic functions free of charge. You can buy some fun extras from the Knuff Shop to upgrade your bubble, such as fresh designs or features that everyone in your bubble can then use. These are simple purchases, no subscriptions. In addition, every Knuff user can acquire Knuffle. Once acquired, you can use these in all bubbles for check-in.

Yes. Knuff does not offer subscriptions. Instead, features are available through Passes with a fixed validity period. You always remain in full control of your costs: there are no automatic renewals and no recurring charges.
A Pass expires automatically. You are only charged for another Pass when you explicitly confirm the purchase. This means your Pass can never renew without your knowledge.
You can extend your Pass at any time, even before it expires. The additional time is added in full to your current Pass, so none of your remaining paid time is lost.
This allows you to secure additional time in advance while always deciding for yourself if and when you want to pay again.

To check in to Knuff in the Knuff Bubble or in the Knuff Chat, click on the hand button. Then select a Knuffling, indicate how you feel, and check in.

You can optionally expand your check-in with:

• Indicating whether you feel good or bad
• A personal message
• Uploading a photo or video
• Taking a picture directly via the camera
• A voice message
• A poll for your group
• Sharing your current location
  
  This keeps checking in to Knuff flexible and personal, depending on how much you want to share.

Knuff is operated by a German team. Your data remains in Germany and is stored in our own German data center – not with US providers like AWS, Google or Microsoft.

Yes, Knuff is a European product. With great attention to detail, we do not see ourselves as a replacement, but as a very good complement to US mainstream apps.

In Knuff you can only be seen by people who are part of the same Bubble as you. Your Knuff Check-Ins are always limited to the Bubble where they are created. Only members of that Bubble can see the Check-Ins, while other Bubbles do not have access to your Check-Ins.

This keeps your Knuff Check-Ins clearly within your selected groups and prevents them from being shared across Bubbles.

In Knuff you don’t select individual recipients for each Check-In. Instead, Check-Ins are shared with all members of the Bubble where they are created.

However, you can create additional Bubbles to organize different groups of people. This allows you to control who receives which Check-Ins by choosing the Bubble you post them in.

Each Bubble acts as its own separate group, so your Check-Ins are only shared with the members of that specific Bubble.

Knufflings are the little figures that make the check-in process more personal. During check-in, you can select a Knuffling to accompany your check-in and thus make it more individual.

Knufflings are in-app purchases and can be purchased individually and also given as gifts. Knufflings are personal and after purchase available in all Bubbles without time limit.

In the Bubble Store you can specifically expand your Bubble, for example with surveys, appointment scheduling, sharing locations or longer video clips. These functions apply to each Bubble in which they are activated and make collaboration and exchange within the group more flexible.

In Knuff, purchases in the Bubble Store are not a subscription. They are one-time purchases for a certain period of time. They add up, so you can purchase a period multiple times and the end date will adjust accordingly.
Since they are not subscriptions, nothing renews automatically and you always have control over the costs.

In Knuff, a Bubble Store Pack is activated for the entire Bubble.

Once a pack is unlocked, all members of that Bubble can use the included features.

In Knuff, a pack only applies to the Bubble in which it was purchased or unlocked.

A pack is activated exclusively for that specific Bubble and is not available in other Bubbles.

It is however possible to sponsor Bubble packs in all bubbles via a separate purchase.

In Knuff, Sponsor means that you purchase a pack for your entire Bubble.

Once you sponsor a pack, it is unlocked for the Bubble and all members can use the included features together.

In Knuff, each member of a Bubble can unlock a feature for the Bubble, which benefits everyone. This means that each Bubble member can buy a pack for the entire Bubble or contribute to unlocking a pack.

A bubble is automatically deleted when the last member leaves the bubble.
